Linda L. Allen

     Linda L. Allen, 66, of Manito, passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at her home.
     A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
     Linda was born on June 8, 1950 in Springfield, the only child of George R. and Shirley M. (Neale) Charles. She married Lonnie R. Allen on October 28, 1978 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2005 in Pekin. Her parents also preceded her in death.
     She is survived by her adopted daughter, Crissy (James) Park of Newberg, OR; granddaughters, Cheyenne Mingay and Elizabeth (Thomas) Richards; uncle, Duane “Dude” (Teenie) Charles; and a host of cousins and extended family.
